Technical Rope Rescue Technician (TRRT)
The history of rope rescue in the oil & gas setting started when municipal departments had not encountered the working elements of the oil and gas sector, creating a demand for rescue services in this sector.
Our certified rescue teams are provided with the best equipment to help you in your time of need, beginning with pre-plan for confined space work or working at heights, deploy a plan for effective evacuation routes, determine the best way to extract a casualty from a hazardous environment whether in confined space or at heights, and to educate those around them so efforts can be the most effective if rescue is initiated. Safety personnel is every bit as vital as the workers performing the task at hand.
When it comes to safety, there are many hats that are worn by a single individual. We offer a wide range of safety personnel ranging from:
- Confined Space Entry Attendants
- Gas Detection
- Field Air Technicians: Air Trailer Attendants (monitor the air consumption during on-going work operations) and Breathing Air Attendants (fitting workers with the appropriate protection and education to ensure the workers are confident in the tasks asked of them under hazardous environments)
- Fire Detection (Spark and Flame)
Safety Technicians are the eyes and ears for your work site, making sure your site stays compliant with OH & S legislated standards, meeting Code of Practices, identifying and classifying restricted/ confined spaces, performing hazard assessments and control methods for day-to-day tasks.
